Our workshops offer you the experience of what it's like to be a practitioner of playback theatre by exploring the roles of actor, storyteller, musician and conductor.
All of our workshops are led by Artistic Director Brie Barker and share two prerequisites: a curiousity of yourself and of others!

Introduction to Playback Theatre
If you're completely or fairly new to playback theatre, then this is the best workshop for you to start with.
This full-day program is designed for actors, arts-based practitioners, facilitators in healing and community arts and anyone else who has an interest in getting "inside" the experience of playback theatre.
Artistic Director Brie Barker guides participants in working together to discover not only what makes playback theatre such an engaging art form unto itself, but also the power of it as a practice for personal, professional and community development.

Playback Theatre ~ Level 2
Prerequisite:
Either our Introduction to Playback Theatre workshop or on advice of our Artistic Director (based upon your previous experience in playback theatre).
This full-day program, led by Artistic Director Brie Barker, moves beyond the broad strokes and gets you deeper into playback theatre's various roles and presentation forms.
Cost: $105.00 (incl. GST)

Playback Theatre Learning Lab
Prerequisite:
Either our Playback Theatre Level 2 workshop or on advice of our Artistic Director (based upon your previous experience in playback theatre).
The Learning Lab will be a regularly scheduled, 3-hour drop-in workshop. It will be a chance for more experienced playback theatre practitioners to work with Artistic Director Brie Barker on a continual / ad hoc basis. Each Learning Lab workshop will focus on a different aspect of playback theatre.
Cost: $15.00 (incl. GST)
