"Our performance will cap off the 3i Summit on Saturday, November 28, from 4:00 to 5:30.  This is a very exciting event, one where a diverse collection of our city’s dynamic leaders will present their ideas, hopes and visions for Ottawa’s future as the rest of us soak it all in. But when all has been said, not all will be done!

"That’s when Sanitas Playback Theatre will be there to draw out what has floated in the ether in between, to illuminate those personal experiences and stories that have been invoked by what's been heard, and then immediately reflect them back to the teller and the rest of the audience through the artistry of our ensemble.  We aim to offer all of the 3i Summit participants a compelling and powerful way to connect their imaginings, interactions and inspirations with each other.

"I think I hold the record for the longest audition period in theatrical history ~ I began the process way back in February 2009 and just completed it about a month ago.  Whew!

"Through this patient and organic process, I've met a lot of wonderful people here in Ottawa and have been heartened by how much interest there is in this city for playback.  While only seven people were invited to become company members at this point, I feel good that our workshops will continue to offer all those who are keen on exploring playback theatre a warm and welcoming place to do so.
